How To Allow Active Content on Internet Explorer

Select Allow Blocked Content

If prompted by Internet Explorer with the message "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer" click the message "Click here for options..." and select "Allow Blocked Content". A dialog box will appear asking for confirmation that you wish to run active content on your machine, please select 'Yes'.

Alternatively, you can configure your browser to always allow active content.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Select Tools -> Internet Options...
  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. Scroll down to the Security category and check the box labeled "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer".
    Tick Allow active content to run in files on My Computer
  4. Click OK to save your settings.
